Writing your test with Accessibility Services

swagÂ鶹 Accessibility Services (AS) is committed to maintaining a high standard of academic integrity during examinations. We follow the swagÂ鶹 Academic Integrity Policy. The following procedures are listed so you know what to expect when writing a test with Accessibility Services.

Before your test

  • Arrive 15 minutes early and check in with your photo ID. Be ready to start writing at your scheduled start time.
  • All electronic devices must be locked away. This includes cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, and other smart devices.
  • If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the class starts writing, you may not be able to write. We may need to ask your instructor for permission to write and if they approve, you can write until your scheduled end time.
  • Avoid wearing scented products. Our office is a scent-free zone.
  • Contact us immediately if you will be late or if there are problems with the date or time of your scheduled exam.
  • If you no longer need to write your test in Accessibility Services, log into the Portal to cancel your booking. You can find this in the “My upcoming events” tab.

During and at the end of your test

  • No food is permitted in the testing room unless indicated on your accommodation plan. Medication and drinks with a sealed spill-proof lid are permitted.
  • If you become ill during your test, notify the AS Facilitator immediately
  • If there is a fire alarm or other emergencies, follow the direction of the AS Facilitator
  • Hand in all material including scrap booklets, formula sheets, and the exam question sheet at the end of your exam.
  • Exam information is confidential. If you are writing your exam at a different time than your class, do not disclose any information about the exam to anyone else.
